UK based Quartz Group is set to organise a vape exhibition in Dubai, UAE from 3rd to 5th June 2019. The venue for the expo is Dubai World Trade Centre, and it is titled “World Vape Shop”. The organizers of the show have past experience in organizing b2b business events across countries such as Mexico and Indonesia, in the category of cleaning, aluminium, glass and steel. This is the first time that they are doing an expo in the electronic nicotine delivery systems (ENDS) space.

The expo is seeing a good demand with leading exhibitors and brands such as SMOK, Myle, Vaporesso, Joyetech etc. already booking stalls in the exhibition. Vape Stop, the leading online aggregator from India which has now entered UAE is also taking part in this show. Another popular international brand that is expected to take part in the show is ‘RELX’, a brand of Chinese origin, which is sometimes even referred to as the JUUL of China. This brand has a quality product and is rapidly increasing in usage across countries.

As per the organizers, Quartz, the 3 day vape expo in Dubai will bring together a variety of stakeholders enabling better commerce in the industry in UAE. These will range from hardware manufacturers, distributors, retailers, and even some end users (adult smokers) of the products. The expo is expected to be open for public on the last day of the exhibition. Organisers have also stated that a “Future of Vape” conference will be held which will bring together 50+ experts to discuss the present and future scenario of the booming vape industry.

The electronic nicotine delivery systems market in Middle East and Africa is estimated to be USD 485 Million by the year 2024, as per analysis firm Mordor Intelligence. E cigarette products are not meant for people below the smoking age of 18 years, and are not harmless and contain nicotine, which is highly addictive. These products are an alternative to combustible cigarettes to those adult smokers who are unable to quit, or those who do not want to quit smoking conventional cigarettes. They are not medical products or a proved cessation tool, and are not meant for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
